It seems there was a small billing issue earlier this morning with our web hosting provider, AllureHost which resulted in the account being suspended on their server, however, this issue has now been sorted out and we’re back up and running.
A big thanks goes out to those that noticed the suspension before I was able and for reporting it! All WordPress Themes should now be back online and available for download!
The live beta for the G2 WordPress Theme has been going great and with its release closer than ever, I’d like to take moment and say thanks to everyone who has contributed their time by submitting bug & error reports and also further testing the theme itself (both in live and private environments).
At this time, you should see the G2 WordPress Theme released within the next few days, if not sooner. The live beta is coming to a close, we’ve ironed out the submitted reports and the theme is production ready.
After the initial release of the G2 WordPress Theme, more Theme Options will be added as they are requested to help further add to the functionality of the theme itself and to further ease blog administration.
By popular request, Post Tag options have been added to the G2 WordPress Theme. These options allow you to enable or disable the display of Post Tags on the blog index, single posts, archives and categories.
Post Tags are more for ‘human’ benefit over search engines. Allowing search engines to spider Post Tags essentially allows for duplicate content to be indexed and such content can actually harm your search engine ranking with multiple SE’s and PageRank with Google.
For those that want to display them and do not mind the duplicate content being indexed, you’re able to enable this feature. For those that hold a high ranking for specific terms and would like to prevent such from being displayed, you simply disable the display via Theme Options.
A big thanks goes out to every one who has sent in their feature requests for the initial release of the G2 WordPress Theme! If you’ve not yet received a response to your request, please allow for some additional time and rest assured a response is coming!
The G2 WordPress Theme is now live here at PositiveNoize and all features, such as the Author Box, Switchable Sidebar & Sidebar Ad and Custom RSS Feed URL are active.
This live preview will allow us to further test the G2 WordPress them and gain valuable input from our visitors and members. If you come across any problems, errors or find anything that seems to be out of place, please Contact Us and let us know so that we can get it fixed as soon as possible!
If the beta goes well and no problems arise over the course of the next few days, the release date for the G2 WordPress Theme will be made followed by the actual release of the theme.
For the time being, enjoy the new, upcoming theme!
Within the next day to few days, we will be switching the WordPress Theme here at PositiveNoize over to the G2 Theme that will soon be released. This will allow those interested in browsing around the G2 Theme to have a chance to do so and also get a full-featured look at the theme in action.
By testing G2 in a live environment, we’ll be able to easily work out any remaining “kinks” and provide you with a better, fully-functional, professional WordPress Theme to power your blog or website.

I’ve received quite a few IM’s & E-Mail’s asking what Theme Options are currently available for the G2 WordPress Theme as well as what additional Theme Options are planned once it’s released and after.
Now while, at the moment, I can’t really provide information on what Theme Options will be added as of now or after the theme is released, I can provide details on what options are currently available, active and functioning within the theme.
Below you’ll find a listing of what Theme Options are currently in use. More Theme Options are set to be added, however, they have not yet been finalized since the theme is not yet complete.
The G2 WordPress Theme is coming along great! We’ve completed the initial design, the coding and we’re currently working on integrating Theme Options for easier blog management.
Comment, Pingback and Trackback separation is already integrated as is Meta Tag management for those not using a meta tag management plugin. The Meta Tag management option can be disabled or enabled via the G2 Theme Options page.
More Theme Options will be added shortly and before the release of the G2 WordPress Theme. We’re still fine tuning everything and making sure all CSS & HTML is validated before the release.
